wedding planning and wedding day hopes and dreams

Of course there are hopes and dreams for the days AFTER the wedding, which are the most important days of all. But specifically for the planning and the day, here are some hopes and dreams

1. Memorable, meaningful day full of love, laughter, great food, loads of singing and dancing, a few joyous tears, that feeling of "how blessed am i"+ "it was worth the wait" and an opportunity for guests to have meaningful conversations inspired by our wedding
2. Family reunion
3. low on stress 
4. be a blessing for everyone involved and everyone who attends
5. A wedding where my bridesmaids  don't spend thousands of shillings on a dress they will never wear again -I am therefore thinking of allowing mismatched (different colours within the scheme) and definitely different styles that suit each particular bridesmaid-having been a bridesmaid before and spent a lot of money on dresses I have never worn again(happy as I was to be honoured as a bridesmaid)I don't want our wedding to repeat the same error
6. To give the planning full fun attention when it is the right time but to also limit our time spent on planning so that it does not become a priority over all the other things that are also priority in our lives.
7. The best party we will have thrown to date!
