Nairobi wedding: Entertainment option-DJ Eric Ochola

DJ Eric Ochola of RigRig (+254-710-427-427)
-He DJd for one of our family functions and did a very very good job, we were all happy. So here are some rough quotations for our consideration for our event:

The package price depends on the function, number of guests, location and whether you have a band:
-the audience determines the quantity of sound systems which then influences cost
-number of microphones also determines cost
-location determines cost in terms of transport
-if you have band, it changes the equipment needed e.g. mixer

If you provide PA, the DJing alone will be kshs.25,000

So for our specs of 350 guest, rosslyn, 3 microphones, no band it will come to roughly Kshs. 50,000  which includes DJing, transportation costs to venue and the PA systems. Generator is separate cost. They work from morning to reception end and he doesn't play secular music.

NOTE: DJing is not the same as playback(from laptop or CD player) the latter being what many "DJs" actually provide.

And for family function of 150 guests, kiambu, 11a.m to 7p.m, 1 microphone- 15k for PA and 15k for DJ

It's a tad above our budget, so we will have to figure something out.
