First of all, I need to make a note about "putting too many eggs in one basket- versus- fragmentation." I don't believe in giving one service provider all or too many of the tasks to do. This is mainly because I don't believe one person or company can be good in everything. On the other hand, I also do not want to have too many service providers and would want to link the most inter-related services. So for example, I want one provider to do BOTH photography and video, and another to do BOTH tents tables chairs & flowers decor. For the latter I had initially assumed it would be two different providers. But it works out cheaper to have the same person+ better cordination and I have seen it done well. So that long intro is to say that I won't work with florists who only do flowers and then I still have to figure the rest; or photographers who don't specialise in photos and video. That itself eliminates some providers.
Anyways, at the moment I am waiting to receive quotations for the following services (vendor names not in order of preference)
