our goals and vision for our wedding

1. A wedding where the MARRIAGE is even more important than the weddding day. therefore, we do not want to fuss and fuss and fuss over wedding details, much as the wedding day is a huge day in anyone's life. We want to maintain the proper perspective. We therefore want to spend majority of our discussions thinking about our marriage and not on things that will fade or wither.
2. A space for our family and friends  to reconnect and form new friendships- both our families are scattered all across the globe and are not in the same space/under one roof for long chunks of time. We therefore want to use the wedding day and the events before that to allow people who have not met in a long time to reconnect.
3. We want the opportunity to be surrounded by our closest friends and family and the people who have played significant roles in our individual journey and journey together. We do not want to have to do "crowd control" but at the same time we do not want to cut off too many people. For that reason we think a guest list of 350 guests is the best.
