Our UPDATED 13,000 dollar wedding budget breakdown

Our budget is being updated to  reflect the lessons we are learning from doing our homework on what can realistically get us quality services in Nairobi without splurging whilst also not getting too stressed, and also fits with what what is most important to us.

My initial plan was to have the type of wedding we desired for 7,000 US dollars or less for absolutely everything. However having spent some months doing our homework looking around it is clear that 13,000 US dollars is more like it. 

Initially we thought going DIY would save costs, but we realised DIY takes up more time and can even be more expensive+ require more manpower. What we want is  a simple beautiful dreamy meaningful wedding without fuss. 

We thought through different options and in the end, we used the lessons to re-draft the budget to be at least average for a wedding in Nairobi- not too high,  not too low either.

WEDDING DAY EXPENSES
